Quaid i Azam University Islamabad administration has threatened the striking Baloch and Pashtun students to put an end to the twenty six days long strike otherwise police and Anti-Terrorist Squad would remove them from university forcefully.

Baloch Council Quaid i Azam University issued a statement saying that students had received such threatening messages from the university administration.

However, students refused to step back and pledged to continue the peaceful protest till the restoration of expelled students.

“We have been receiving threats from the administration of Quaid-e-azam university to call off our strike otherwise we need to face Islamabad Police and ATS. The protesters are peacefully sitting on their stand and will continue their ‘ehthejaj’ until our students are restored.” Wrote Baloch Council QAU on its Facebook page

The Baloch students are on strike for almost a month for the restoration of expelled Baloch students.The students were expelled from the university after a clash between Baloch and Sindhi students in the month of May.

The dispute between Baloch and Sindhi students has been settled, but the university administration has refused to restore the expelled students despite strong protests from students.
