I reside in Turbat, Baluchistan and I am in search of perceiving the meaning of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that what does it actually mean.

Another question arises what benefits we get from this multi-billion dollar project as till now we have not been facilitated with the very basic needs like water.

The government has declared the city as the future of Pakistan and the mainstream media presents it as one of the most beautiful and developed cities of this country.

China Pakistan Economic Corridor means nothing for the local and indigenous people. Moreover, this multi-billion dollar project just seems to be a part of international economic game nothing else.  The truth of CPEC is still hidden and the people of Baluchistan are unable to perceive it. The fact is that China only wishes to rule over the resources of Baluchistan.

On the other hand, CPEC is a golden egg for China because if we take an overview that the real meaning of (CPEC) is China Provides Economy to China. So we should utilize our common sense that china is exploiting the resources of Baluchistan and its only purpose is to strengthen China’s economy and the local residents will still remain deprive of basic necessities of life such as food, water and healthcare facilities.

Finally, I would like to draw the attention of the representatives of Baluchistan to concentrate on the most basic requirements of Gwadar’s people and the education system should be focused in order to console them that their rights will never be neglected at all.
