Leadership is not about gender, but the efforts one makes to get to that position_ be it a male, female or a transgender. It is not about possession or ownership, but of consistency, honesty and efforts. Sadly, people in our society consider leadership as their personal property, be it the political leadership or the social leadership. Unfortunately, they mostly think patriarchally like women are not born to be leaders in our society. But they are never sure how powerful women are.

As a writer once beautifully mentioned: “A woman is like a tea bag_ you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.”

However, a leader can appear in different forms, but the similar thread between them all is integrity between your words and actions, ability to learn and adapt and someone who welcomes risk into their life. Woman is an idea of sorts that she herself learns from her influences (be it immediate family or teachers) and then has to unlearn so that she can become what she wishes, and ultimately chooses to be!

It is quite clear that, to be a leader you do not need a name you lead by blueprints and examples.

To begin with abstract figure, the Woman had more impacts on English culture than she could ever have known during her moderately short life [41 years]. Jane Austen began putting pen to paper when she was only an adolescent. Her works are irreplaceable. She showed the world_ specially the English people_ how women have the capabilities to lead.

The second noble name Florence Nightingale. She is known as English social reformer and the founder of modern nursing. Though she was a woman but trained the nurses during the Crimean War, in which she organised care for wounded soldiers. She changed the face of nursing from a mostly untrained vocation to an expert and well-mannered medical occupation with very important authorities. That is how women are socially pure and more sympathetic leaders.

Not only in past women have shown positive outcomes as leaders, but presently they are also working more proficiently than male leaders. The prime ministers of Finland and New Zealand, both being females, have worked profitably and better than many other male leaders internationally for their people.

Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, and Sanna Marin, the Prime Minister of Finland, have proven themselves to be finest characters of today’s era. They have flawless manners with their unique styles and abilities to lead their respective countries. Finland even did not report a single case of Corona virus and have not imposed any lockdown within, whereas, the New Zealander Prime Minister has, after China, was the first country to have recovered from Corona Virus.

In Pakistan late Benazir Bhutto dealt with every situation so bravely and courageously. She even devoted her life for her people, but what have male leaders done so far?

Besides these all, women are also good leaders in our homes. Be it any sort of problem in family, women have better techniques to cope with them. They are mostly peace-lovers and get irritated with violence as compared to men.

All in all, the above study reveals how women have proven to be better leaders socially and politically. They know how to deal and at what situations. Some people believe women are way too emotional to dealing with the matters, but this is a plus point for them. Because when they are sentimental, they can better feel the pain their people are encountering and do their best to heal them.
