Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC), a student organization working across Baloch regions, has called for book stalls across the Baloch regions to ensure the new year is welcomed with “a love and close bonding developed with books”.
In a statement issued by the central spokesperson of the organization, he calls the “nations to be merely developed through knowledge and education” which the Baloch organization is looking forward to. He believes that the roots of all developed and educated nations are “profoundly embedded in wholesome knowledge and intellectual pathways” for which BSAC is ensuring it bridges the gap within the Baloch.
The spokesperson further added that education was the only way to not only make ways for international recognition, but also safeguarding indigenous culture, history and civilization. “With educational non-condonment and marginalization by the authorities,” he opined, “Baloch youths have been distanced from the books. The organization is putting its utmost best to fill the very gap.”
The central spokesperson is of the view that among their very best efforts, “Balochistan Kitaab Karwan” is a most-reached stance of the organization through which they hold book stalls across the Baloch regions – with an emphasis on rural areas where educational rights are far reached. “The stalls will, undoubtedly, serve as a means to encourage educational landscape and bring about intellectual growth and transformation within the Baloch society,” the spokesperson quoted.
He announced of welcoming 2026 with book stalls under the banner of their central program, the Balochistan Kitaab Karwan, considering it the “organization’s national duty”. They urged the people to not only join them in welcoming the new year with a healthy environment, but also to support them in organizing such events in their areas. “This is the way we can enlarge our struggle and ensure every region is equally involved in the process of national formation.”
