The hope of my life (Son) is in Quetta. He is about to get his MPhil degree within some months. By the God’s grace after getting his degree, he opens an institution in our village to provide an education to the downtrodden children of our society, exclaims the aged mother decorating a big smile while putting smiles on the faces of the other women sitting around her.

But who knows what happens next!

A wish is always wished, no matter what the wish is. Sometimes a wish remains forever and keeps an individual alive.

In the village, most of the mothers were hopeless and unvoiced. Albeit, they owe dreams and hopes to their children, but their dreams meant nothing.

They are only used to hearing the stories. Every mother prays for their loved ones to be in peace and blessed. Yet sometimes the situation differs!

The mother of the depressed son doesn’t know where her bright of eyes is. She has been waiting to welcome him with a hug, wishing him for his achievement.

“My little son loves to rest on my lap. I become the most happiest mother of the world when I put my hands on my only son. His soul is relaxed when he is with me. He loves to hear the stories that I narrate,” speaks the mother to herself gathering the bygone happiness.

Most of the sons in the Baloch society won’t go to the bed until heard a story from their parents or grandparents.

For the present time, social media has generated a gap between the child and the parents. We are amidst a tough time where some of the parents are hopeless to get their children educated and rest of them are lost in praying to have them never lost.

Wrapping the long discussion, every mother’s eye is filled with tears for many a reason. They smile no more, collectively pleading.

Hope my child has a dream,
A dream to study round the clock!
A dream to be the voice of the voiceless,
A dream to be just!
A dream to have them around
A dream to have them never lost
A dream to have no tears.

Wish every mother smiles forever.
