The Dannuk incident has triggered an interminable reign of resistance on behalf of Public against the state-backed goons. An overwhelming crowd gathered at Shaheed Fida Chowk Turbat on Monday (June 1) against the tragic incident occurred in Dannuk (Kech) which has shattered the entire nation to the core and left everyone enraged. A few days ago, some influential dacoits penetrated into a house in Dannuk claiming the precious life of a mother and left her child critically wounded.
It was truly an embarrassing and disgusting incident which has put our head in shame. It is in sheer contradiction to the social, moral, ethical and cultural values of the Baloch society. The incident has jeopardized the dignity and reverence of the nation. The severity of the situation needs immediate and transparent proceedings while hidden hands involved in this monstrous tragedy should be unveiled before the general folk.
It is very astounding that the world is combating the Corona Virus pandemic but unfortunately, people, in Balochistan, are engrossed in resisting the barbaric practices of state-backed criminals which are aimed at generating an atmosphere of chaos and anarchy deliberately. Unidentified plotters have nefarious designs to disrupt the serenity and tranquillity of District Kech.
It is a shame that mainstream media is hell-bent upon cloaking the persecution of the state which is an emblem of the controlled press in the country. Media is totally paralyzed to speak up against the criminal policies. No doubt, media is unmasking its own feeble face. Neglecting and overlooking such heinous acts is the peak of hypocrisy.
Political parties are the only ray of hope to challenge the supremacy of the state but regretfully, they are doing their dirty and hypocritic politics in the guise of the slogan of justice and democracy. They need to set aside their vested interests and political differences in order to become an unsurmountable voice for the victims of Dannuk tragedy. They should come up with an effective strategy to award exemplary punishment to the central culprits and heal the wounds of Bramsh.
