The students in Balochistan have always awaited opportunities and platforms to explore their hidden talent in so many different fields of life. However, due to lack of opportunities, their dreams and wishes only remain in minds and thoughts.
A group of Baloch students, headed by Chiragh Ibrahim Baloch, stepped forward and decided to shoulder the responsibility of exploring Baloch talent in the field of Information Technology and they have successfully come up with many projects which were highly admired by the Baloch population around the world.
Chiragh Baloch basically belongs to Pasni area of Balochistan and recently completed his postgraduate degree in Information Technology from People Friendship University of Russia.
He with his other friends created a platform named as Balochtech – Enriching nation with latest technology. This is a Worldwide Network Which Manages all Balochtech Websites, Networks and Projects.
The Balochtech team developed Windows in Balochi version, developed a Facebook like application, Balochbook, contributed Vshgap, a chatting application that functions like whatsapp and they have also come up with an online Balochi FM Radio that broadcasts programs in Balochi language. The list of their contribution goes on and on…
However, they have still got to go a long way to spread awareness about the Information Technology among the Baloch students so that they get interested in such technological fields.
