The young patient Shay Mureed Baloch from District Noshki of Balochistan dies after battling cancer.
The young Shay Mureed from Noshki was suffering from cancer disease for long, but was unable to get out of it due to non-availability of proper treatment as the fatal disease requires a huge amount of money which was out of Shay Mureed family’s capacity.
Shay Mureed was an intermediate student and was eager to continue his education, but cancer broke his dreams into pieces.
At the last stage of battling cancer, he sent a text message to one of his friends that “Yar Muje Dheko Men Ney Abi Tak F.SC Nahen Kya Hai” (Dear see me I have not completed my F.SC yet).
Shay Mureed is not the only victim of this fatal disease from Balochistan, Noor Bibi, Rehan Rind and many others have already lost their lives due to this deadly disease and many more are yet to leave us forever.
According to a report in last two years four thousand cancer patients have been registered in Balochistan and the numbers of cases are increasing after every passing year. According to Dr Zahid Mahmood of Bolan Medical Collage Quetta, most of the patients come from Gwadar, Panjgur, Chagi, Pashin, Chaman, Lorlai and Zhob.
