Hinglaj Mata which is also famously known as Nani Mandir is the most famous Mandir in Balochistan.

It is situated in a mountain cave on the bank of the River Hingol, at the end of the Kheertar mountain range, which are called the Kanraj in Balochistan.

According to the Hindu religion, when Lord Vishnu cut the body of Sati into 51 pieces so that Lord Shiva would stop his Tandava, the pieces were scattered across the Indian subcontinent, including in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh. But it is said that the head of Sati fell at Hinglaj, Balochistan and that’s why this Mandir is so important.

Most people in Balochistan are Muslims. But the Baloch People have a liberal and tolerant spirit. The survival of this site is proof of their brave and generous attitude towards Hindu pilgrims.

Throughout history, the Baloch population has always respected the belief of others and lived together with harmony despite belonging to different religions
