Quadian Students Federation (QSF) has called off two week long strike in Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad.

The syndicate in its meeting on Friday accepted twelve of thirteen demands and announced to constitute a committee for the last demand that is of restoring the expelled students.

The demands included providing new buses, decreasing fee, increasing the quota for girls, improving internet system and restoration of the expelled and rusticated students.

The Baloch Council has announced to continue its peaceful protest till the restoration of the expelled students.

Dozens of students were expelled and rusticated from the university after the clash between Baloch and Sindhi students in the university in May.

Most of the expelled students belong to Mehran and Baloch councils; however, Mehran Council also called off the strike.
