Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC) organized a walk on International Book Day in Bolan Medical College (BMC) Quetta.
The theme of the walk was to create awareness about the importance of books and to promote reading culture among the students.
The participants carried banners and charts on which many different messages about promoting reading culture were jotted down.
Professor Dr Shah Mohammad Marri, Dr Lal Khan Karar, Dr Mohammad Akhter, Dr Zarak Baloch and Dr Younis Baloch led the awareness walk. A large number of male and female students participated in the walk.
Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC) also arranged a walk in Agriculture College Quetta with the same theme of promoting reading culture in the society.
The awareness walk was led by Agriculture College principal Aslam Niazi and Chairman of Baloch Students Action Committee, Rasheed Karim Baloch.
The leaders of BSO, PSF and PSO also joined the awareness walk.
