K-P govt intends to export donkeys to China

Donkeys being import to china from Pakistan

The government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is planning to export donkeys to China.

According to the sources the government has planned ways to increase the population of donkeys in the province and the proposal would be given to the Chinese investors in this month.

The initiative is being taken under ‘Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa-China Sustainable Donkey Development Programme’ and government officials will present the proposal to the Chinese authorities during their visit to China on April 17 and 18.

According to the official documents of KPK government, the donkeys are highly valued in China and are used for manufacturing medicines.

It is a project of 1 billion rupees and expected to generate a good amount of revenues if carried out successfully.
