Turbat is the second-largest city of Balochistan province after Quetta. It contributes 63 percent of total literacy rate of the province. But, unfortunately many students in this day and age find no access to library owing to inadequacy of library in the city.

Additionally, it has only one public library with 1,700 books and is hardly capable of accommodating approximately 35 students.

Further, more than two libraries are must in Turbat in order to engage the students educationally. Constructing libraries would be herald of development of Turbat as well as Balochistan in term of education.

The government should beat his brain out about the issue and kick off construction of libraries as soon possible after the general elections.
