Artist Sharjil Baloch has paid rich tribute to the martyred advocates of Balochistan by painting their portraits.

On August 8, 2016 at least seventy people were martyred and dozens injured when a suicide bomber blew himself in Sandeman Civil Hospital Quetta, Balochistan.

Majority of the martyred were from lawyers community of Balochistan. Sharjil Baloch painted the sketches of all those advocates who embraced martyrdom on this day.

His work was highly appreciated by the people on different social media forums.

These painted portraits were presented for exhibition in a ceremony held in Balochistan High Court. The ceremony was held to remember and pay rich tribute to the 8 August martyrs.

Sharjil Baloch is a working journalist with BBC Urdu and is a passionate artist. He basically belongs to Balochistan and remained a student of Bolan Medical College (BMC).
